two new books in aid of the RNLI

two new books in aid of the RNLI
Hopefully this post will be of interest to you if you enjoyed my ‘watery reflections’ posts while we were stuck at home in the last lockdown. I am pleased to tell you that they have been included in a new book which is being sold in aid of the RNLI. The book ‘Sea-Dog Tall Tales’ not only includes my offering but has contributions from many others. This includes some legendary charter skippers like Geordie Dickson (of various Plymouth based boats such as Artilleryman) and Roger Baysand (of ‘Sundance’ Lymington).
This book has been put together by another infamous charter skipper, Paul Whittall, of ‘Offshore Rebel’ from Weymouth. Paul released another book in the summer called ‘From Army Brat to Seadog’. This book is a watery based biography, it takes us from Paul’s childhood and family links to the sea, follows his beginnings as a charter skipper, and the eventful career that followed right up to the present day where he remains to lead a busy and interesting life.
Both books can be found for sale on amazon at under £10, please remember all profits will go to the RNLI so please help us raise as much as possible. With Christmas around the corner they would make a great stocking filler for any seafarer although I am sure most people will enjoy Paul’s witty story telling.
