Today i was joined by fred and the lads for the first time in a few months. doug had booked the boat today and it ended up with the 4 of them having the whole boat between them. The forecast wasn’t bad but there was a notch more wind than predicted so we had a steady ride down. our first mark produced plenty of whiting as expected along with a dogfish and a few roker. Conditions weren’t perfect but the lads fished hard as the always do.  As the tide eased we headed closer to home and stopped in the river for the rest of the day. If anything the fishing turned out better in here. Plenty more whiting and another dogfish along with a few more roker. We  ended up with 8 roker  for the day and the lads all enjoyed them selves.
