I was a little laxed with taking pictures but Dave has kindly sent me a couple through from his phone. Luckily we had a few roker early on in the trip and were kept busy throughout the day with endless whiting. One or two whiting were a decent size with the rest the usual stamp. In places there were numbers of dogfish still and we even had a couple of pouting. We didn’t find any codling today although I have heard of one or two showing from the shore and private boats. We should certainly be kept busy in the coming weeks though as bites were thick and fast. It was a whiting or dogfish most casts and bites all of the time. The main thing is Dave enjoyed himself and I look forward to seeing him again in a couple of weeks time.
