Got a couple of trips in this week, one day I headed out with just Barry and Mark aboard. If the weather is good enough and the fish are feeding I will honour individual bookings even if just one person is booked. I treat it as a day out for my self to fish and I don’t want to put individuals off of booking spaces. As you may expect the lads had heaps of room on board with the big catamaran to our selves. We started out around 16 milers out and worked our way back towards home. There were loads of whiting and dogfish in some places so we moved off of them in the end. Once we found somewhere they were a bit more manageable it gave the roker a chance to find our baits. They are still there in places but are a little lethargic this time of year (I know how they feel). with an abundance of sprats and herring to choose from they aren’t taking our baits with any urgency so its worth really sitting on your hands when you get a bite. That said we found a few and I was lucky enough to end the day as top rod with 5 roker. I have a few spaces this month on general trips as well as offshore if the weather and tides suit. You may also wish to book trips for later in the year as the summer dates are starting to fill up already. Spaces as follows including this week.
