After arriving home last night I had fred and the lads aboard for the first time in a while. It is traditional that on every trip fred comes it rains so this morning we decided to get it out of the way early. The rain soon cleared and left a decent day in the end despite the breeze picking up a little. We started off with a steady run of roker first thing this morning. There were one or two dogfish about but they were manageable. We had a move over slack tide in search of a few more fish. the start of the next tide was good with a couple of busy periods and a couple of decent fish before the tide eased back and we had to move as we started to swing. Our next mark was slow going but the lads tickled out another half a dozen roker before home time. We finished up with 28 roker a few dogfish and the odd whiting for the day.
