headed out with a few lads on a premier trip today, the weather was spot on and the tides were nice. We didn’t steam too far before we stopped and got fishing to catch the last of the tide. The first roker was soon aboard and we had a flurry of fish as the tide came to a stop. Slack water didn’t last too long and the first push of the tide moved some more fish through. as the tide picked up the bites thinned out. we had a few whiting bites and the odd one aboard before a move. We got the anchor back down and were straight back into the fish. some nice ones came out with the odd fish around double figures too. For an hour or so the fishing seemed to die off but it came back on as slack water approached and we finished with another flurry. we had 36 roker, a couple of dogfish and a few whiting by the end of the day. The lads were all pleased after a bleak few months. There were plenty of fish and glorious weather its just a shame about the company! Who could ask for more?
