Headed back out with a short evening trip. This evenings group were a family out on a birthday trip. We started off trying for roker where we had fished a couple of weeks ago. There was plenty of weed about and too much colour for bass on the lures. There was a good breeze but we were comfortable enough all evening. First fish up was after a couple of casts and was a baby tope.  It was very welcome and went back none the worse for wear. Next fish out was a roker which was also greeted with exitment by everybody. A while later we lost  a roker close to the boat shortly before moving in the hope of finding a few more bites. The move did us no good although everybody seemed to really enjoy them selves. This set of tides has marked a definite change of seasons so we will have to concentrate on the schoolbass for the next few months of evening trips.
