this week has been a funny week with the weather. I had a phone call from kevin and the lads after they were cancelled else where due to the wind. We were able to get afloat and make the most of some nice weather before the wind arrived. The lads had 40 odd hounds and lost several more. The biggest went 11-12lbs and fell to Ian. The same wind that had seen the lads cancelled else where hung around a little longer than I hoped and meant Fred’s tope trip was cancelled later in the week. Luckily the wind abated and meant we could get out over the weekend and weren’t disappointed with good numbers of hounds coming out and plenty of low doubles. Unfortunately we didn’t manage to get anything bigger to the boat (although I have no doubt we lost some good fish). mixed in with the hounds were a few bass, the odd roker and an eel. I have the odd day available for full boat bookings mid week but other than that my next spaces are as follows
