Back out today with a mixed bunch of individuals aboard.  We started off trying for hounds where we had seen a few the day before yesterday. The hermit pot was very disappointing with only 15 or so crabs for 48hrs soak. The start of the tide saw 3 hounds early on for barney. The other lads had a few roker too. As the tide got up the fishing slowed down and we had a move.  The next mark produced a couple more roker and our first dogfish. We had another move for the last hour or so where we had a few more roker, lost a few more roker (some right at the net) and some more dogfish. Finished up with 10 roker 3 hounds and a few dogfish. I am trying my hardest to find hermits but we are all struggling this year. Please be advised to bring rag worm or source peeler crabs. I don’t favour frozen hermit much to be honest and wouldn’t recommend bringing them.
