We have made the most of the weather and the fishing over the past few weeks. Luckily both have been spot on most of the time. We continued to enjoy some great bass fishing most places we have been and some decent fish have been mixed in too. After knocking Dave’s fish off at the end of his trip I gave the same mark a go with Bens group the next day. we had already seen a few roker and the odd hound before the bass moved through. the lads had several nice fish although Ben had the biggest at 6.7lbs. He also managed the best hound on his last cast with ono of 11.4lbs. We havnt seen numbers of big hounds for a few weeks although there have been plenty of smaller fish around. So it has been nice to see the odd double figure fish mixed in to keep us interested. The smooth-hound fishing is picking up and we should see several more good sessions on these before they leave us in early September.

At times the bass have been in vast numbers. I have started my offshore bass trips and I will be running these until early November on the right tides. The weather has often allowed us to get offshore and catch all sorts of decent fish. keep an eye out and I will fill you in on this shortly.
