Today there was the first of the named storms passing over us. We went for a ride to mizzen head picking up uncle steve on the way. We had a nice journey there and it was very scenic despite the conditions. We had a couple of hour at mizzen head visitor centre where there was an interesting museum/display and some great walks along the cliffs (particularly in a gale of  wind).
