The weather that had hampered our fishing didn’t stop there and delayed our trip home. First our ferry was cancelled and we were moved on to the next one the day after, this one was then held up as the wind was pinning the ferry to the dock so we had to wait for it to die before we could leave and hour and a half later! Although the weather was as pain we still had a great time and some nice fish. the first few days we only pushed outside the harbour as the forecast for the second week was so bad.  We could have been comfortable in the harbour and catching some different species too. By the time the bad weather hit it wasn’t even very nice within the harbour. If we hadn’t run out of rag by then im sure we could have added some more species. Even without adding species we could have turned our attention to the bass or thorn-backs but we don’t target these much as we can catch them at home. The fact that we still got out and had good fishing despite the weather is a big part of why we keep returning here and why we will return again.
