I went out with dad for a leisurely day fresh water fishing today after cancelling our trips. We probably missed the best part of the day this morning but we decided to take it easy and not get up at silly o’clock for a change. The breeze that had made us cancel our trips was quite welcome today as it cooled us down and made the blazing sun far more enjoyable. I ledgered a boilie on one rod and  fished the lift float method on the other. I had several rudd, roach, perch and some nice tench to 5lbs which made my day.
