with lots of wind over the weekend I cancelled my trips and tried to push the blyth along this weekend. There was only so much I could do as she was still on the water. The tide went out so far this morning I couldn’t get to the mooring by boat. With a bit of time to spare I nipped out for an hours fresh water fishing. The first swim was unproductive but the second came up trumps with both my target species.  A nice little chub and a brown trout for my efforts.

The milder weather has improved the sea fishing so fingers crossed for this weekend with nice tides and several spaces each day still.
