headed out today with leon and the lads for their Christmas trip. The weather wasn’t bad although the wind was a pain after the turn of the tide. We headed a fair way down in search of the roker we had the other day. Our first mark proved unproductive other than a few whiting so we had a move closer in shore. We had a couple of roker as the tide eased back along with a few more whiting. We had a move over slack water and awaited the next tide but it took and age to turn and get going. As it did we picked up a few more roker and plenty of whiting too. By the time we headed home we had 9 roker and lots of whiting for the day. It hadn’t been as good as we had hoped with the roker but we had some decent ones amongst them. I look forwards to seeing the lads in January for there first trip of 2019.
