Headed out today with 7 individuals aboard, Stephen, chris and matt are regulars aboard the galloper and they had joined Sebastian and his friends for the day as the forecast had originally looked far better for today than yesterday. As it happened today was grey and overcast and pretty wet at times. Thankfully it was flat calm as we steamed out and got fishing with a bit of tide running. The first 45 minutes was promising as we had 3 roker and lost one along with several whiting and a pouting. unfortunately the bites dried up after this and the breeze picked up causing an uncomfortable beam on sea.  We had a short move over slack water and the tide had soon turned. The next tide produced a roker to start, then after a while a small codling for chris and a while later another roker. We moved foir the last hour or so and scratched a few more roker and whiting out to finish the day along with another pouting for matt. We ended up with 8 roker, a codling, plenty of whiting (although not as many as we have been getting) and a couple of pouting.

The weather looks good for the next few days so if you can drag your self away from the telly, food and drink I have a few spaces before new year. Otherwise happy Christmas to you all.
