we managed to get a couple of trips in this week when the weather played ball. First up were leons group for their monthly outing. Steve and simon made up the numbers with the lads today. we started trying for hounds and graham got us off to a great start with a nice fish of 15.5lbs. we saw another decent fish on the surface but only had a few other smaller fish including a bass for simon. We decided to put a move in as weed became a problem. The next mark produced several more nice hounds, some chunky bass and more roker than I saw all of last month.  We had a nice mixed bag by the end of the day. the next day produced more of the same with even more roker and hounds. its nice to see a few more roker around ahead of the autumn. Barney nearly had a dogfish but it dropped off.   There were some nice bass which reminds me I have put some dates aside for offshore bass trips in October. There are a few weekend dates available and I can offer the odd week day too please get in touch if you are interested.
