Its been busy again the lest week or so. The weather has been great and the fishing has been just as good. Inshore there is nice mixed fishing producing anything from dogfish and roker to hounds and bass. The stamp of fish varies from day to day depending on tides and location but at times we have seen very good numbers of sizable bass. Other times on mixed trips one or two decent fish make the day. I have been a bit laxed with taking pictures of late although I have a few to share with you. Pauls group had a nice mixed trip. We started with a nice bass, had a few hounds and dogfish to keep us busy in the middle of the day and ended the day with a few more chunky bass. As ever the hounds were great sport and you have to keep an eye on your rod at all times. Unfortunately one fish dragged a rod over the side one this trip and despite our best efforts we didn’t get the rod back. It’s the first one ive ever seen go in without retrieving it. Other trips have seen countless bass on bait and lures. The offshore bass trips have been particularly productive and should continue to do so into early November. While I mention the autumn we did pick up a couple of odd looking fish on a surprisingly local shallow mark the other day. I have put pictures on so please help me identify them. I am still keeping things the same regarding numbers on the boat until I hear anything different. So its max 5 anglers (unless living together in which case 6) I don’t have much availability at the moment although I could have to move groups around due to numbers ect.
