we managed to get out this week ahead of the wind, we had plenty of smaller hounds, the odd roker or dogfish and bass mixed in when we fished the deeper water. Josh and pat had a couple of nice hounds either side of 10.lbs the lads had already caught a nice mix of fish and had a load of worm and a barbeque the next day so we moved up shallow for some bass. The water was so shallow and clear we could see the anchor as the boat bounced bottom on the start of the flood. I cast the lads out that needed help and hadn’t made it to the wheelhouse before fred had the first bass on! Bites weren’t as quick as that all afternoon and not all of the fish were keepers  but josh had a nice brace of bass which gave a very good account of them selves in 3ft of clear water. With any luck we will get offshore soon to give the bass marks a go. I still have a few spaces in October for offshore bass trips as well as inshore general trips for October and beyond.  There are also several weekdays available upon request.
