Had tony and the lads out for their monthly competition today. we made our way out with a bit of breeze about but nothing to worry about. Our first mark produced steady fishing and some nice sized fish among them. There were plenty of females and most were 50-60cm across the wings so scored well on the lads sheets. We had the odd whiting here and there . As the tide turned we had a move a bit closer to home. This was sheltered from the breeze and afforded us more fishing time too. we had a couple of fish early on then the numbers built as we approached home time. By the time we packed up the lads had managed 34 roker for the day, this may have been down on the numbers they had last time but there were a better stamp if fish and it was still a respectable days fishing. i broke my camara this morning and Adam kindly sorted it for me during the day (cheers mate) this meant no pictures other than some i took before i left where some dead roker had been dumped off of the causeway. what a waste! if your not going to eat it please dont kill it.
