Headed out today nice and early, we were meant to be offshore ant crept off in the hope we might sneak a day out. conditions weren’t bad and as we got further down it surprised me how far we managed to get. As we were nearly there a squally shower came through and put the mockers on it for us. We did and about turn and got the anchor in. after this shower passed the wind and sea state fined away but we held fire for an hour as there looked to be another cloud heading our way. The next cloud bought more wind and this time it hung around. We had only had dogfish here so we had a move. The next mark had very little tide and there was still plenty of sea so we waited for the tide to stop then headed closer to home. We ended up a lot closer to home and with little more shelter but enough to make it fishable. Fishing was good here with plenty of roker and a schoolie bass for matt. Joe had the biggest roker which was somewhere into doubles. We only had half of the day in here but managed 27 roker, we tried to make it 30 but they slowed up towards the end.
