The storms have been and gone, the weather looks like it is going to be on its toes later this week and the fish are feeding again. Things are starting to look up again. We have managed to sneak out as the weather started to break and the roker, whiting and dogfish are well on the chew inshore. Russell’s group had a nice steady days fishing in comfortable conditions despite a stiff breeze trying its best to put a downer on things. The rays that are coming up are nice and clean which is a good sign they active again. I have heard similar reports from around the Thames estuary which is a relief. There were plenty of table sized males about and a few bigger girls mixed in too. Some of the whiting were a good size as well which was a pleasant surprise.
If you want to get out and make the most of this weekends weather as well as some spring run fish then please call me as I have some spaces come up for this Saturday (05/03).
