Had 7 lads on board today all on the hire gear and we snuck a day out in between the gales. It was bright and breezy but the wind was in the right direction for us to find some shelter in the river. We needed all of the shelter we could get for the first few hours while it was wind against tide. As the tide got going we held steadily at a nice angle and could fish comfortably. We had a few roker to get us started and with 11 by slack water I was happy and we had a short move over the turn of the tide. The move may have only been a mile of so but we were a lot more exposed for the first part of the next tide. Luckily the fishing was good and the boat sat well in some snotty conditions. The lads had a steady run of roker throughout the rest of the day along with the odd dogfish and whiting. By the time we headed home we had 26 roker in to low double figures. Not bad with the best part of a gale blowing through.
I have spaces this week both Saturday and Sunday numbers of roker are around and if the weather allows we will try and get further down in search of something different.

it looks like there could be a weather window FRIDAY I am trying to put an offshore trip together if you fancy it please text or call me.
