we managed to get out a couple of times in between the storms this week. Friday was the eastern region police comp and with a bit of breeze about we could get to where we had hoped. We fished inshore and after a slow start we had a move and the afternoon was quite busy. Richard was the busiest and nearly filled one side of his sheet up with whiting, dogfish, roker and pouting. we had a couple of dabs over slack water in the morning and half a dozen small tope to 50 odd cm long which was a surprise. Dave had the best roker of about 8lbs after a slow start.

I have plenty of spaces in the next few weeks and we should continue to see more of the same. We may even find a codling at some point too.
