we had another busy week  with a variety of weather and trips. The hounds have still been good fun and there have been plenty of  other bits mixed in too. the weather and weed pushed us off of the best hound fishing one day but we still had fish to low doubles. We eventually gave up and headed for the river where the tide had died but matt winkled out a roker, ben had a whiting and nigel had a flounder pretending to be a  plaice. The next day the weather was spot  on and with freds party of beginners we hit it off on the big hounds. It was a baptism of fire for the ladies and gents to learn on this fish but they coped very well and learned quickly. We had several doubles biggest going 16lbs before moving to try and get them some bass. There were plenty of schoolies and a couple for the table. As ever the biggest ones got away. we couldn’t get away from the hounds today and had a few more up here mixed in with the bass.

I have a couple of spaces this weekend and several more into august but they are filling up fast.
