There was still a good breeze left over this morning but the rain had passed through and left us with a bright and sunny day. We made our way down to our first mark which was nice and sheltered. There were steady numbers of roker coming out from early on and we were lucky enough to keep them coming all day. There were plenty of whiting coming out too but only the one dogfish in the whole day. Many of the lads were beginners and they fished really well throughout the day. After the turn of the tide the wind dropped right off and left the sea like a mirror. One or two fish were lost and a certain ex-teacher needs some knot tying lessens but other than that a good day was had by all. We finished up with 33 roker for the day .
