had leon and the lads out today, we made our way off a fair distance in search of roker with the hope of a better fish or two.  The fishing wasn’t busy but it was steady. There were good numbers of dogfish and whiting coming out (if you consider lots of them to be good!) and the odd roker or two mixed in. the roker ranged from maids to sizable fish and fought well in the tide. Unfortunately we didn’t see any hounds or bass but just as the tide died rob caught a little spurdog which was welcome. Nigel had lost one at the side of the boat shortly before hand too, these may not have been as big as the ones we see offshore but they were still welcome. we finished up with 19 roker for the day.
