After cancelling todays trip and heading off puddle chucking I headed back early to get Andy, Paul and Pauls grand-daughter Anya . Apparently Anya had been pestering grandad to take her fishing for some time so it was nice to finally meet her. There was still a lot of wind about so we took a slow ride out and found some shelter. The ‘clodge’ weed was far more prominent this evening but we could just about fish through it. We sat it out here for some time and had only one small boot lace eel and a couple of missed bites. Time was passing quickly so we had a move to another mark for the last of the trip. Weed was bad here but there were lots of schoolie bass and bites came thick and fast. Anya had several bass herself so was very happy as were Paul and Andy although with lots of bites coming we soon got through the bait and promptly ran out. thankfully it was near as damn it home time and so we called passed the caroline and picked up some lads from there on dads behalf as we headed home.
