Had 8 individuals out today, most of the lads had fished before although there was a fair range of experience between them. The weather wasn’t bad and we had a mixture of different baits so we decided to try for something different this morning with a view to falling back on the roker this afternoon if need be. After a good steam down we reached our mark and got fishing. Several of the lads were into fish first a cast. We had a couple of roker and dogfish along with a spotted ray of 2.10lbs. this caused much excitement between myself and many of the lads. mark and alec photographed weighed and identified it while I sorted out some tangles. We had several more roker and graham had a small hound before we decided to head back inshore for some roker. Our first mark was a bit slow so we moved in even closer and had a steady run of roker until the end of the day. We finished up with 25-30roker for the day and several happy anglers.
